How is namaz performed for or during eclipses?
وهى سنة تؤدي بجماعة ... (هنديه) ولا جهر فى القراءة فيهما عنده فلاناً لهما وفى الطحطاوي: الصحيح قول الإمام كما فى المضمرات (حاشية الطحطاوى) إن المسنون أن يشتغل بالصلاة والدعاء حتى تنجلى الشمس. تاتار خانية يصلون ركعتين فى خسوف القمر وحداناً (هنديه)
The moon and the sun eclipses are among the sings of Allah. People should offer two rakah salah with jamat on the occasion of the sun eclipse. According to preferable saying, the qirah should be in low voice and they should continue salah till the eclipse ends. If salah completes earlier then they should remain busy in dua and istighfar till the sun is fully shining, whereas on the occasion of the moon eclipse people should offer two rakah salah individually.
